The Sheboygan Police Department is reporting a spate of paintball incidents in Sheboygan, and they’re hoping the public can help them catch those responsible.
The SPD went on social media on Wednesday, encouraging anyone with information to either contact them, or to report anonymously to the Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers.
Several readers responded with reports, one saying their vehicle was hit near King Park late Tuesday night, and another who’s house was hit early Wednesday morning.
The Police Department reminded persons that it is illegal to discharge a paintball gun in the City of Sheboygan, and that shooting a person with a paintball without their consent or damaging property is a crime that will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Anyone with information about who is committing these crimes is encouraged to call the Sheboygan Police Department at 920-459-3333. If you wish to report information but want to remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward, you can contact Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers at 877-283-8436, at www.cufthem.com, or by using the P3 Tips mobile app.
