MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Luis Urias and Willy Adames each drove in four runs as the Milwaukee Brewers came from behind to beat the Chicago Cubs 15-7 at American Family Field on Wednesday afternoon.
Urias was 4 for 5 at the plate, launching two home runs for Milwaukee, while Adames hit a grand slam in the fourth inning.
The Brewers found themselves down 7-0 in the first inning, but scored 15 unanswered runs to take down Chicago. Jace Peterson’s two-run RBI single gave Milwaukee its first lead at 8-7 in the fourth inning.
Trevor Richards earned his third win, striking out three in relief as the Brewers have won eight straight.
Patrick Wisdom and Javier Baez each had 2 RBI’s for Chicago. Rex Brothers was charged 2with his first loss. The Cubs have lost six straight.
The Brewers will now embark on a seven-game road trip beginning with a four-game series at Pittsburgh. Game one is Thursday night. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 5:30.
