MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL-WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks shot over 60% from the field in the first half and at one point went on a 20-0 run as they evened up the Eastern Conference Finals at one game apiece with a dominating 125-91 win over the Atlanta Hawks 125-91 on Friday night.
Four of Milwaukee’s five starters scored in double figures led by 25 from Giannis Antetokoumnpo and 22 from Jrue Holiday. Brook Lopez finished with 16 while Khris Middleton added 15.
Off the bench, it was nine points from Pat Connaughton and eight points each from Bryn Forbes and Bobby Portis.
Trae Young led the Hawks with 15 points in the loss. Cam Reddish and John Collins each chipped in 11.
Milwaukee finished the game shooting 53.1% – the first time they’ve connected on more than half of their field goal attempts in a playoff game this year.
The series will now shift to State Farm Arena in Atlanta for Game three on Sunday.
