SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – A 21 year old Sheboygan man is facing charges after accidentally shooting an 18 year old male from Sheboygan Falls.
Sheboygan Police say the two men were at a residence in the 900 block of New York Avenue on Saturday night when the 21 year old accidentally discharged a handgun he had recently purchased. The 18 year old was hit in the pelvic region and was taken to Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center for non life-threatening injuries.
The 21 year old male was referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office for a charge of second degree recklessly endangering safety, and was taken to jail.
