MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Corbin Burnes struck out 13 batters over seven scoreless innings as he led the Milwaukee Brewers to a 2-0 shutout win over the Arizona Diamondbacks in Milwaukee on Sunday for the four-game series sweep.
Daniel Robertson and Tyrone Taylor hit solo homers for the only runs of the game. Brad Boxberger picked up the save.
The Brewers are now tied with the Cubs for first place in the NL Central standings.
The Crew has Monday off, then will visit Cincinnati for a three-game series starting Tuesday night.
