City of Plymouth
If the applications submitted to the Plymouth Common Council are any indication, Plymouth should be a lively destination for those looking for fun this summer.
At this coming Tuesday’s Common Council meeting, approval of a temporary Class “B” alcohol license is submitted for the “Taste of Plymouth” event scheduled for June 21st at Stayer Park, while another has been applied for by Generations for their Summer Concert Series. Those four events will take place on June 15th, July 20th, August 17th and September 21st.
The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce has also been busy promoting the city in the wake of 2020’s pandemic-induced downturn, having just dedicated a new gateway arch on the east, and decorated the train trestle on the west end of the downtown. Plans are also being finalized for the Cheese Capital Family Music Festival on June 26th and the Mill Street Festival on July 10th.
