MENASHA, WI (WHBL) – Arson investigators in Menasha say the fire at the old Whiting Paper Mill wasn’t an accident. The fire department said on Facebook Tuesday that the fire was ‘not caused by an act of nature.’
Investigators are not saying what caused the fire, but they say their probe is still ongoing.
The fire gutted the old and abandoned mill earlier this month. Crews are waiting to tear down what’s left.
