MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Alec Bettinger was rocked for 11 runs in four innings as the Milwaukee Brewers were blasted by the Los Angeles Dodgers 16-4 in Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon.
A.J. Pollock drove in eight runs and Matt Beaty drove in seven. Both hit a grand slam while Pollock finished with two home runs. Julio Urias gave up just one run over seven innings and struck out 10 for the Dodgers, who snapped a three-game skid.
Jacob Nottingham homered twice and drove in three for the Crew, who were denied the four-game sweep. But the Brewers still sit atop the NL Central with a 17-11 record.
The Brewers are in Philadelphia for a four-game series against the Phillies starting Monday night. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 5:30.
