ASHWAUBENON, WI (WHBL) – At least three people are dead and one is seriously injured after a gunman opened fire near the Oneida Casino in the Green Bay area, and was then shot by police. Brown County Sheriff’s Lt. Kevin Pawlak says it appears to be a targeted event, and not a random shooting.
Four people were shot in the incident. Two of the victims were killed and one is seriously injured. Pawlak said police then shot the suspect outside the Radisson Hotel near the casino, killing him.
A spokesman for the Oneida tribe said they are shutting down all five casinos on their reservation.
No further details have been released about the victims or the gunman, or what type of weapon was used.
