SAN DIEGO, CA (WHBL) – Corbin Burnes had another dominant outing with 10 strikeouts and no walks over six innings in the Milwaukee Brewers’ 6-0 win over the Padres in San Diego on Tuesday night.
Billy McKinney led off a five-run third with a homer and Travis Shaw drilled a two-run double in the inning. Jace Peterson capped it off with a solo shot in the ninth.
The Crew has taken the first two games of the series and will go for the sweep Wednesday afternoon. Adrian Houser starts the series finale for Milwaukee. Dinelson Lamet comes off the injured list to make his 2021 debut for the Padres.
