Lucille L. Wilsing, 72, passed away on April 12, 2021 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Lucille was born in Sheboygan on August 27, 1948 to the late Arno and Anita Barts. After graduating high school, Lucille was united in marriage to Melvin E. Wilsing at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove. They celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary on the 16th of December 2020. Lucille was employed at Town and Country, Millersville Box Co. and Klemme’s Wagon Wheel each for a few years before working at Mayline Co. where she worked a variety of specialized roles for 35 years. Lucille was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 387 and a dedicated and active member of her church, Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, in Sheboygan. Lucille loved her family and was very inviting and hospitable to the people she came to know. She enjoyed making meals for those she loved, and her peanut butter bars will never be forgotten! Lucille enjoyed family vacations, especially her trip with Mel to Alaska. Lucille will always be remembered for her caring heart and she will be missed dearly.
Lucille is survived by her husband, Melvin; daughters, Angela (Kevin) Herwig and Barbara (Matthew) Jacobs; granddaughter, Miranda; siblings, Marvin, LaVerne (Tom) Weber, Linda Grapentine, Lorretta (Gary) Fischer, LuAnn (Glen) Gernentz; sister-in-law, Karen Lindekugel and beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Fred Barts and Marty Barts; sister, Lorraine Lindekugel; brothers-in-law, Jim Krueger, Mike Grapentine, Al Lindekugel and Mike Buchner; sisters-in-law, Pauline Barts and Shirley Barts as well as beloved nieces and nephews.
There will be a funeral service for Lucille at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 1127 Eisner Ave., Sheboygan, with Pastor Adam Barkley officiating. Visitation will take place at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Lucille will be laid to rest at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
