MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Tailgating will be allowed for Brewers’ home games for the remainder of the season.
The team posted a Tweet Wednesday morning showing their costumed mascots including the Johnsonville Racing Sausages, Bernie Brewer, and Keg Man retrieving their tailgating supplies with the caption “big news coming soon…”

About three hours later the team announced that fans would be allowed to tailgate with others in their designated seating pod beginning Monday, April 12th.
Fans will need to remain within their vehicle’s vicinity, and only fans with a ticket for that day’s game will be allowed in the parking lots. Fans will also not be allowed to purchase an adjoining parking space to expand their tailgate area.
More details on the return of tailgating can be found here.
Tailgating was not permitted for the team’s opening series against the Minnesota Twins last weekend. Capacity at American Family Field has been limited to under 25%, with the hopes of increasing that number as the season goes on.
