SCOTTSDALE, AZ (WHBL) – Lefty Brett Anderson pitched into the sixth inning and allowed two runs as the Milwaukee Brewers played to a 2-2 tie with the San Francisco Giants in Scottsdale on Thursday. He and Corey Ray singled in runs in the second inning.
Meanwhile, Freddy Peralta is going back into the Milwaukee rotation after being used mostly in relief last season. Brewers manager Craig Counsell says the 24-year-old righty earned a rotation slot with a strong spring.
Josh Lindblom, who made 10 starts last year, will be used in relief.
The Brewers play the White Sox Friday afternoon. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 3pm.
