Jonathan C. “Jon” Warner, 61, of Brown Deer, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at his home.
Born October 7, 1959 in Port Washington, Jon was a son of Joan M. Halbrook Warner and the late Robert W. Warner. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1978. He continued his education at MATC.
Jon was a graphic/production artist at TradePress since 1994. He spent some time working as a car salesman at North Shore Dodge (He loved his Dodge vehicles). He previously was assistant manager at K-Mart stores in Wisconsin and Illinois. He was a member of the Eastbrook Church in Milwaukee, WI and enjoyed being a part of bible study.
Outward appearances of Jon were that he was a quiet and solitary man. He enjoyed his quiet life, the house that he worked to restore to a beautiful home and the vehicles he diligently maintained. But he also reveled in being surrounded by his family and friends. He collected strays, whether it be cats or people. He welcomed them to his home or gave them a helping hand. He was generous to a fault, steadfast and dependable. He was someone you could count on in a pinch. If you knew him well, you got to experience his shining sense of humor. He was one in a million, loved and adored by those that had the privilege to know him and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his mother, Joan, Sheboygan; his brothers and sisters, Rick and Julie, Hartford, Nan and Dean Allmann, Sheboygan Falls, Robert and Raquel, Guatemala, Ron, Sheboygan, Jim, Sheboygan, Joy and Chris Bacon, Plymouth, Chris and Deenice, Sheboygan Falls, and Joel, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his father, Robert, he was preceded in death by his niece, Nicole Warner.
Family and friends are welcome at Breaking Bread (6451 Business Drive) in Sheboygan on Saturday March 27, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m followed by a memorial service.
Please respect others choice in following Covid-19 safety guidelines and social distancing.
