MADISON, WI (WHBL) – The Wisconsin Badgers have lost two in a row for the first time this season, falling to the Iowa Hawkeyes 77-62 on Thursday night.
The Badgers hit just 4 of their first 30 shots, including just 1-18 inside the three point line.
Micah Potter scored 23 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for Wisconsin, with another 15 points coming from Brad Davison in the Badgers’ defeat.
Luka Garza led Iowa with 30 points with another 17 coming from Joe Wieskamp. Iowa moves to 16-6 and hosts Penn State on Sunday.
Wisconsin drops to 15-8 and returns to action Sunday against Northwestern in Evanston.
