Matthew Bubb

Matthew Bubb, age 35, of Sheboygan passed away Thursday morning February 4, 2021 at Sharon
Richardson Hospice Care from injuries sustained in a tragic fall on August 30. Matthew was born
June 24, 1985 in Sheboygan. He attended St. Dominic and Holy Name grade schools and was a
2003 graduate of Sheboygan North High School. After one year at U.W. Stout Matthew proudly
joined the Army serving his country from 2005 to 2015 with one tour in Afghanistan and two in
Iraq. In those ten years Matthew developed lifelong friendships with his brothers in arms.
Matthew was currently employed as a data network specialist at Aurora Health Care in
Sheboygan.
Survivors include his father Larry (Colleen) Bubb of Sheboygan, his mother Lori (Mike) Damrow of
Elkhart Lake, brother Nick (Alissa) of Madison, son Owen and Owen's mother Eli along with many
aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
A visitation will be held on Saturday February 13, 2021 at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535
S. 12 th Street, Sheboygan, WI from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. A private memorial service will follow

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Matthew’s name.
The family would like to extend a special thank you the staff at Sharon Richardson for their care
and comfort given to Matthew in his final days. The family would also like to thank Froedtert
Hospital 5th floor NICU, 5th floor NW, all the doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, OT, PT and ST
staff who worked with Matthew during his 5 month stay.
