The Wisconsin DNR announced that a buck in the town of Port Edwards tested positive for chronic wasting disease. Since Port Edwards is in Wood County and is close to both Adams County and Juneau County, all three have to renew their baiting and feeding bans.
This is the first CWD case found in Wood County.
