LANCASTER, WI (WSAU) — A 12-year-old boy is dead along with a 33-year-old man after a house fire in the rural Grant County Village of Blue River.
Sheriff’s officials say the fire was reported on Saturday at around 3:30 in the morning. Four other people survived the incident, including two who were treated and released at a local hospital.
Two others, a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, were airlifted to facilities in Madison and Milwaukee for treatment.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
