(Reuters) – Canada’s Alimentation Couche-Tard and European retailer Carrefour SA, have decided to extend their discussions to examine opportunities for operational partnerships, after Couche-Tard dropped its bid to acquire Carrefour, the two companies said in a joint statement on Saturday.
