Pilgrim’s Pride, one of the largest poultry producers in the United States has an update on their legal issues. The company recently agreed to settle some of the price-fixing claims going on against them. According to The Wall Street Journal, the poultry producing giant has reached a $75 million civil settlement with a group of poultry buyers. Back in 2020 the DOJ filed price-fixing charges against numerous executives in the poultry industry. The settlement isn’t finalized yet because it still has to be approved by the court.
