Marianne A. Taylor (Sprague), age 79, of Plymouth, WI, passed away on Wednesday (December 30,
2020) at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.
She was born on January 13, 1941 in Beloit, Wisconsin, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Osborn)
Hanaman.
On September 9, 1961, she married Richard “Dick” Taylor in Beloit, WI. The couple has resided in
Janesville, Kenosha and Plymouth since 1966. Dick preceded her in death on January 16, 2010.
She worked at Rockline, Dairy-Delite, YMCA Camp Anokijig summer camps, Country Crafts, and retired
after several years at St. Nicholas Home Health and Hospice in early 2000.
In 2010, Marianne met up with a long lost friend, William “Wild Bill” Sprague. In 2011, Bill and Marianne
got married in their home in Lake Delton. They moved to Plymouth in 2013, where they resided until Bill
passed away on December 22, 2013.
She enjoyed reading, spending time with grandchildren, cooking, crocheting, and cruise ships.
Marianne was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 118 in Plymouth and past State Eastern
Star member.
Survivors include her children: Trisha (Roger) Mueller of Sheboygan and Tim (Tracy) Taylor of Fond du
Lac; Two grandsons: Robert Mueller and Megan Casady of Caldwell, Idaho, and Jerome Mueller of
Sheboygan; Step-grandchildren: Eric Mueller of Sheboygan; One brother: Dale (Nancy) Hanaman of
Rippey, Iowa; Great grandchildren: Cora Casady; Step-Great grandchildren: Hannah Nelson, Tyler
Mueller.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Taylor and William Sprague and parents.
Private family service with entombment in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Nicholas Hospital Dialysis or National Kidney Foundation would be
appreciated.
