(WHBL) – A fast-hitting winter storm left Sheboygan County covered in up to a half a foot of snow. The white stuff began falling just after most had returned home from their daily activities on Tuesday, but about 20 calls for vehicles off the road were eventually received by County Dispatch.
The National Weather Service has yet to post any snowfall totals, but initial reports ranged from about four inches in Sheboygan to six inches in Plymouth, while Cedar Grove received around five inches.
There doesn’t appear to be any more snow in the forecast this year, however another system could put down a few inches to start the new year from Friday afternoon into early Saturday morning.
