(WHBL) – A 23-year-old Manitowoc man will spend the next 10 years in prison for his involvement in dealing methamphetamine. U.S. Attorney Matthew Krueger announced the sentence for Keynan Juul, who was convicted of trying to move over 50 grams of crystal meth in an incident that occurred last April.
That’s when Two Rivers Police observed Juul leaving a known drug location and attempted a traffic stop. Juul, who was driving with a suspended license, instead drove off at speeds that at times reached 110 MPH. During the chase, police saw him throwing items from the vehicle.
About 90 grams of methamphetamine and various drug paraphernalia were recovered. The chase ended when Juul lost control and struck another vehicle.
After Juul serves his ten-year sentence, he’ll serve another five years of supervised release.
