David Alan Dever, age 65, of Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, December 10,
2020 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. David was born to late Daniel
and Gloria (Leonard) Dever Jr. in Sheboygan, WI on May 14, 1955. He graduated
from Sheboygan North High School in the class of 1973. A few years later David
earned a bachelor's degree from Lakeland College. On May 31, 1975 David was
united in marriage to Betty Ann Dever (Grosshuesch) at Zion U.C.C. David
enjoyed playing and listening to music, golfing, gardening, and taking trips with
family and friends. Although he enjoyed all these things, David was happiest
spending time with his loving wife, children and grandchildren. David spent 39
years working at Kohler Company, where he held a variety of leadership roles,
until his retirement in May of 2019.
David is survived by his children, John C. (Jacque) Dever and Sarah B. (Rigo) Perez;
grandchildren, Ashley and Calvin Dever, and Austen, Tanner and Xavier Perez;
brother, Daniel (Sharon) Dever III; brother-in-law, Robert (Pam) Grosshuesch; and
sister-in-law, Diane (Terry) Steiner.
David was preceded in death by his wife Betty; parents, Daniel and Gloria; father
and mother-in-law, Calvin (Hilda) Grosshuesch; and brother-in-law, Richard
Grosshuesch.
A private memorial service will be held for David.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at Sharon
S. Richardson Community Hospice for the extraordinary care they provided.
