SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Another sign of the inevitable onset of winter will arrive on December 1st when Sheboygan’s Winter Parking Rules become effective. The overnight regulations are intended to facilitate efficient cleanup of snow, ice and debris of winter storms, and that means alternate one-side-only parking on city streets between Midnight and 6 AM.
The SPD advises that you keep in mind a simple rule: Park for Tomorrow. So if tomorrow is an even-numbered day, park on the even – or north and west – side of the street. If the next day is odd-numbered, then the east and south sides are for parking. Those streets posted with “No Parking” restrictions stay that way, meaning no parking at all.
