SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – If you live in the City of Sheboygan and own a cat, dog or potbellied pig, then you need an annual license for each one. And beginning December 1st you can obtain a 2021 license by mail, or at the Sheboygan Police Department headquarters on North 23rd Street.
Getting one involves more than paying the fee; a current rabies certificate verifying vaccination by a licensed veterinarian must also be supplied. Fees vary between dogs, cats and pigs, and also whether the animal has been neutered or spayed, and if you keep more than three domestic animals in your home you’ll need an animal fancier’s permit as well.
