SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Eight Sheboygan area nonprofit organizations were awarded a total of $21,000 in grants from the Alliant Energy Foundation. They were among 17 organizations recognized in our part of the state for efforts to address hunger and housing, workforce readiness, environmental stewardship, and diversity, safety and wellbeing.
The Executive Director of the foundation, Julie Bauer, announced the grants on Thursday, noting that the entire community benefits from working together and finding creative opportunities that help make life better for others.
The community grants are among 139 awarded by Alliant Energy’s Foundation for the fall grant cycle, totaling over $345,000.
