GREEN BAY, WI (WHBL) – Aaron Rodgers found Davante Adams for three touchdowns, including one late in the fourth, but it wasn’t enough as the Packers were upset by the Minnesota Vikings 28-22 at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Rodgers finished 27 of 41 for 291 yards.
Jamaal Williams successfully ran in for the two-point conversion with 2:42 to go to make it a one-score game but the Packers were stopped when Rodgers was sacked and fumbled with less than a minute remaining.
The big story on the day was Vikings running back Dalvin Cook, who scored four touchdowns. Three of those were on the ground – one through the air. Cook finished with 163 yards rushing and 63 receiving yards.
Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins finished with 160 yards and a touchdown pass as Minnesota improves to 2-5.
Green Bay falls to 5-2 and now have a short week, as they’ll be in San Francisco to face the 49ers on Thursday night.
