MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — It’s another day of high COVID-19 levels in Wisconsin as another 4,870 people test positive for the disease and 51 more people died from the illness.
DHS Deputy Secretary Julie Willems Van Dijk says COVID-19 continues to strain at the state’s efforts to take care of those who are ill.
193 more people were sent to the hospital on Thursday, and that puts hospitals at a total of 86 percent capacity across Wisconsin.
Fox Valley hospitals are at 93 percent capacity.
