MADISON, WI (WRN) – The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic in Wisconsin has surpassed 200-thousand.
The state Department of Health Services confirmed 3,815 new coronavirus cases and 45 deaths on Wednesday.
With fewer than 10,000 tests processed in the prior 24 hours, the daily positive test rate was 39 percent. The seven-day positive test rate was 27.2 percent.
There have now been 210,126 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with more than 43,000 — 21% — considered active. The total statewide death toll is now 1,897.
