Ag in the Classroom does an annual essay contest for fourth and fifth graders in Wisconsin. This year the essay question is “How have Wisconsin soybean farmers fueled Wisconsin’s economy?” The question might be a little tricky for fourth and fifth graders, but at least they’ll learn something about agriculture while writing the paper. The essay has to be 100 to 300 words and it’s due on April 1st.
