EAU CLAIRE, WI (WSAU) – On the heels of President Trump’s visit to Mosinee, Vice President Mike Pence will return to Wisconsin next week.
Pence will tour Midwest Manufacturing on Eau Claire on Thursday, September 24. Then he’ll travel by bus to Minneapolis to attend a ‘Cops for Trump’ event.
The Trump campaign continues to campaign heavily in Wisconsin, a state that he won by 27,000 votes in 2016. Pence has made five trips to Wisconsin so far this year, with stops in Marinette and LaCrosse, and most recently Janesville earlier this week.
Trump supporters are also hopeful about flipping Minnesota, which Trump lost by 1.5% in 2016, or about 44,000 votes. Trump will campaign in Minnesota on Friday.
Polls suggest Biden has a narrow lead in both battleground states.
