MILWAUKEE, WI (Wisconsin Radio Network) – A number of liberal advocacy groups say the Project Veritas organization tried to entrap them this year.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Voces De La Frontera and Black Leaders Organizing for Community have filed reports to the attorney general’s office that several people connected with the right-wing website Project Veritas attempted to goad them into making illegal statements about handling voter registration.
The group has repeatedly sent agents to Wisconsin organizations and politicians to try and catch them in ploys on camera, and even threatened to dig up dirt against former Attorney General Brad Schimel for declining to file charges against a liberal activist.
