Over the Summer there was a crazy event that happened in all 50 states where people would get random packages of seeds in the mail. The USDA was worried and warned people not to open or start growing them because they could introduce an invasive plant to the states. No one was harmed, but it made Amazon rethink the way that seeds are sold on their site.
The company announced that on September 30th, an updated policy will go into effect stating that only sellers from the U.S. can sell seeds on the site. Seeds can not be imported from other countries. They said that sellers who don’t comply by the rules could get their accounts shut down.
