MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Labor Day coronavirus numbers from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services show 567 new cases in the state, which is 326 less cases than reported Sunday.
The 567 additional cases brings the total number of confirmed positive cases to 81, 760.
In addition, 4,899 tests came back negative, and no new deaths were reported, keeping the number of deaths at 1,168.
The seven-day average for new confirmed cases is 879 as of Monday.
In addition, 72,478 people have recovered from the virus, which amounts to 88.7 percent of total cases.
Wisconsin hospitals said Monday they were caring for 289 COVID-19 patients, which is three more than Sunday, but one fewer than a week earlier. Of those, 91 were in intensive care, which is five fewer than Sunday and this time last week.
