EAU CLAIRE, WI (WSAU) — Over a dozen students at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire are quarantined for possible exposure to COVID-19.
University leaders say 18 students have quarantined on campus and at least one is in isolation.
The students that have quarantined may have been exposed to someone with the disease. Students in isolation may have tested positive. Though the University would not provide any information about the details surrounding the potential exposure.
Five students have quarantined in Putnam Hall on campus. The rest have agreed to self-isolate in either their dorms or at their permanent residence.
The University has previously designated Putnam Hall as a quarantine site.
