MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Josh Bell and Gregory Polanco both homered for the Pittsburgh Pirates as they beat the Brewers 5-1 in Milwaukee on Sunday.
Keston Hiura drove in the lone run for Milwaukee with a single in the third. Brandon Woodruff struck out seven over five innings of four-run ball to fall to 2-3 for the Brew Crew.
Adam Frazier and Kevin Newman each had run-scoring singles in the game for the Pirates. Nick Tropeano got the win in relief, giving up just two hits and two walks in two-and-two-thirds innings of work.
