MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Orlando Arcia hit an RBI single in the fourth to break a 2-all tie as the Milwaukee Brewers clipped the Cincinnati Reds 3-2 at Miller Park on Tuesday night.
Brandon Woodruff pitched six innings of two-run ball, striking out eight, to get the win. Josh Hader pitched a perfect ninth for his seventh save. The Brewers have won two in a row to get to 13-15 and host the Reds again tonight.
Mike Moustakas had a two-run single in the top of the 4th inning to put Cincinnati ahead before the Brewers rallied in the bottom of the inning. Luis Castillo took the loss, giving up three runs, two earned, on five hits over six innings while striking out nine.
The two teams will meet again Wednesday night at Miller Park. Tune in for pregame coverage on WHBL starting at 6:35.
