CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) – Orlando Arcia homered and later scored the go-ahead run as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Chicago Cubs 6-5 at Wrigley Field on Sunday. He finished 3-for-4, a double shy of the cycle, with a pair of RBI and three runs scored.
Keston Hiura hit a three run homer to get Milwaukee started. Eric Yardley picked up the win in relief and Josh Hader threw a perfect ninth for his fifth save.
Steven Souza Junior drove in two with a double in the first and Jason Kipnis drove in a pair with a single in the sixth to draw Chicago even. Jason Adam took the loss in relief. The Cubs fell to 13-6.
With Sunday’s win, the Brewers took 3 of 4 from the Cubs. The Crew is now back to .500 at 10-10.
Monday is an off-day for Milwaukee. They will then embark on a six game road trip beginning with a three-game series at Minnesota beginning Tuesday night.
