MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Eric Lauer gave up seven runs over three-and-two-thirds as the Brewers were slammed by the Minnesota Twins 12-2 at Miller Park on Wednesday night. Luis Urias brought home the Brewers’ only runs on a single as they dropped to 7-9.
Kenta Maeda pitched two-run ball into the seventh inning for Minnesota to improve to 3-0. Byron Buxton went 3-for-5 with a pair of solo homers.
The Brewers dropped two-of-three in the series and have lost four of their last six overall.
