(WHBL) – Strong storms developed over southern Sheboygan county early Sunday morning, dropping over 2 1/2 inches of rain in 3 hours. The heavy rain caused flooding, downed trees, and damaged crops in the Random Lake area.
Some roads had to be shut down temporarily south of Oostburg due to flooding. A rain gauge in Cedar Grove showed more than 4 inches of rain fell – Oostburg reporting 2.64 inches.
There were no reports of any significant damage.
