PITTSBURGH, PA (WHBL) – Eric Sogard doubled in the runner from second in the 11th and the Brewers beat the Pirates 6-5 in rainy Pittsburgh on Monday night.
Milwaukee scored four in the ninth to tie the game, capped on a two-run double by Ryan Braun. David Phelps picked up the win in relief.
Colin Moran homered twice for the Pirates. Dovydas Neverauskas took the loss in relief.
Game two of the series is Tuesday night. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 5:30.
