SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – Fire caused $30,000 in damage to a home on Bell Avenue Monday afternoon. The Sheboygan Fire Department says they were called out around 4pm to reports of heavy smoke coming from the roof of the home.
Crews found flames on the first floor of the home, and quickly put them out.
A dog was rescued from the fire, but 5 cats could not be saved.
Nobody was home when the fire broke out, and crews were on scene for roughly 3 hours. The residents were displaced, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
