(WHBL) – The Ryder Cup is next up on the coronavirus hit list. ESPN reports the PGA of America will officially announce today the event is postponed until 2021 due to the pandemic.
It was to have been at Whistling Straits in Sheboygan in late September.
ESPN reports a source told them, “There will not be a Ryder Cup this year.” The Ryder Cup will go to 2021, the Presidents Cup to 2022, and then they will alternate from there.”
There were reports weeks ago from British newspapers that it would be postponed. Today it will apparently be made official.
