SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – A major intersection closure will be re-routing traffic along alternate routes for the next 10 days as water main replacement takes place.
The work at Calumet Drive and Geele Avenue means that Business Highway 42 traffic will need to use North 15th Street and North Avenue to bypass the construction, and Geele Avenue east of the intersection will be closed to all but residents and businesses there.
If you’re going westbound on Geele, you’ll be directed to go either north or south at North 15th Street.
City Engineer Kevin Jump acknowledges the inconvenience and asks for patience and cooperation. The project should wrap up on July 16th.
