PLYMOUTH, WI (WHBL) – Event cancellations in 2020 have become almost routine, but the Plymouth City Council broke the mould Tuesday evening when it approved requests to hold a parade and festival the last weekend in July. The Road America Parade of Race Cars & Concours d’Elegance will go on as requested July 24th and 25th.
The meeting of the Plymouth Common Council was held virtually Tuesday in order to protect against the coronavirus pandemic but, come that July weekend, Mill Street in Plymouth will be closed both days – not to keep people out but to allow them to stroll the streets.
Approval was given for the parade on Friday, and on Saturday for what the Chamber of Commerce listed on their website as a Sidewalk Sale.
