MADISON, WI (WHBL) – Early on Wednesday morning the City County Building on South Carrol Street in Madison was set on fire, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, apprehension, and conviction of the man believed responsible. That building houses the 911 communications office, Madison Police Department and other city and government services.
Special Agent in Charge Jon Ortiz of the ATF St. Paul Field Division says that this crime put a number of lives at risk, and that acts like this won’t be tolerated.
