PLYMOUTH, WI (WHBL) – Events planned for this summer have been dropping one-by-one as the benefits of festivals and parades are weighed against the risks of spreading COVID-19.
This afternoon the City of Plymouth will put those measures to the test as a special meeting of the Common Council is held to consider whether or not to hold the Road America Parade of Race Cars & Concourse d’Elegance the weekend of July 24th and 25th.
The meeting – being held remotely via WebEx, will consider closing Mill Street in downtown Plymouth both days, and whether or not to grant a Class “B” Retailers License to the Chamber of Commerce to operate the festival.
Today’s meeting will be held at 3 o’clock.
