NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India said on Tuesday it would reduce the headcount in Pakistan’s embassy in New Delhi by 50%, following what it said was “acts of espionage” by officials there.
India would cut staff in its own embassy in Islamabad by the same amount, the statement by India’s foreign ministry said. There was no immediate reaction from Pakistan.
