SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – As the overall number of tests returns in Wisconsin dipped, the ratio of positive returns among overall tests spiked from 3.8% Saturday to 4.6% today, further cementing in negative territory the state metrics used to consider less restrictive guidelines. Four of the six metrics cited in the Badger Bounce Back are in the wrong direction. But at the same time, there were no deaths reported in Wisconsin in the last 24-hours, something not experienced since at least the first week of June. Deaths now number 744 statewide. Meanwhile, the 6051 persons tested since yesterday are the least in the last 14 days, and the 280 positive returns represent 4.6% of totals and raise the state’s running tally to 24,819.
In Sheboygan County, no test returns were reported – either positive or negative – and with one recovery that leaves active cases at 41. 2 of those are hospitalized.
